I have been having so much fun designing and working that I have forgotten to share what's happening at Moonstruck recently.

A few updates...

I had a great time working with Kevin and Kate Hodges to begin branding their business - Anchor Air Conditioning. We have finalized their logo, added it to their website, staff T-shirts and more!... Here is the final product.

I would highly recommend Anchor AC's services and don't forget to check out their internet specials!!

I had an unexpected urgent project come up this week and had a blast working on it. I was contacted to design some template album pages for a local photographer. It has been awhile since I had the opportunity to work on any album designs and it was so good for me to get down and dirty in photoshop again. I re-learned a few tricks as well as a few new tricks which will definitely save me time in the future. I will try to post some of these tricks soon.

Awhile ago I had the opportunity to design the logo for one of my networking groups - The St. Pete Rainmakers. It is quite the honor to meet such great people in the Tampa Bay area. I have made some amazing connections and am really excited to help others grow their business. I have also been buttoning up numerous projects for AAPS and will be previewing most of that work on my updated website (which I hope to have up this week!) Stay tuned!

Indexing

Well it has been quite a week! I have surprised myself as I have moved quicker through this directory project than I expected (which is GREAT considering I really only had a week to complete it). I have certainly not mastered InDesign, but am feeling more and more confident in it everyday. I have spent most of the day today and yesterday setting up the Index. HOLY COW it is a time consuming effort and I have never appreciated the way an index works more than when I am building one. I KNOW.. it is sad the things I find entertaining. I want to call my husband in to take a look, but know he REALLY won't care. In fact, I considered posting an image of how beautiful it is looking, but am pretty sure no one really wants to see it!

My fingers are crossed this project will go to print early next week and on to the next!

It's Official!

IT'S OFFICIAL! With some encouragement and my blog site designed by my dear friend Jenn, I have entered the world of blogging. I am very excited, but am also overwhelmed by the endless possibilities that come along with this creative expression. I MUST WARN YOU.... if you intend on following my blog - I am a TERRIBLE writer and my thought process is moving a mile a minute. I have never excelled in English and my grammar stinks! I am the queen of run-on sentences and I have accepted that title. I hope you can follow along as I am extremely excited about sharing my passion for the creative arts. I hope to have some work posted in the coming days and am excited about the upcoming launch of my new website. Stay Tuned!
